I envy so many of you going so early Sad Team Monkey will be leaving it very late this year. Little Monkey has his last exam (gcse) on the morning of the 15th, so the old Alfa will be parked outside the school gates with me and Middle Monkey tapping the dashboard, as soon as he is finished 10.30am ish we will be on our way  Grin Plan to liaise with the Time Team on the M25 and using our club thing (as was) through the tunnel and on our way. Camping on the way down somewhere arrive at Mulsanne mid day on Saturday.
Hotel Sunday night back home Monday night, but lets not think about that yet!! Can't wait.

Leaving the North East on Tuesday morning, via Retford to pick up my bother, kipping in essex, then 0700 speedferries on wed morning dover-boulogne.

Then hopefully avoiding any of previous years misfortunes of exhaust breaking off on terminal ramps, puncture in Rouen, servo packing in on N138 and countless stops to tweak the engine....

arriving Mulsanne bar by mid pm, then pitch tent on technoparc - should be plenty of space cos havent come across anyone other than my crowd who are staying there!!!!!

return on monday

Will do Del - no doubt the boat will be full of Le Mans bound Brits and plenty of four wheeled booty in the hold.

Sadly no - both have work obligations I believe.

I'm hooking-up with the rest of our UK contingent as always - will plan seeing you at the Champers bar at some point in proceedings.  I too am sorry I missed Sebring (but not the weather before).  It's the first time I've been absent from that event since the late 90s.

Have you pondered the Petit in Atlanta later this year?  I'll pour a beverage or 10 down your neck at Le Mans and get you to sign on the line!

Steve,

Vehicles noted, will keep an eye out for you.

I wonder if the M6 suffered the same fate as my M6 did yesterday, gearbox died.  Not a good feeling. And what did the good old boys at BMW give me as a replacement whilst said M6 is re fettled, yep you guessed it.......a Nissan X Trail (diesel) !!!!!!!
