Just outta curiosity why didn't the 14's start in 1991? Was it simply a question of reliability and the car was built more for the shorter races and 1000kms? Or was there a safety issue with the car? I miss these graceful beauties Smiley Lets talk!

It wasn't set up for the race, too much downforce, top speed not to good, engine not reliable. Besides they had proper cars in the garage, just weighed to much.

Very well, thanks for the info. I thought it may be something of the sort. I wonder why they couldn't change the underbody of the car a bit to reduce the downforce or was it the massive rear wing I wonder?
