Wow, that must be great to watch. Spinning loads of the little sods around on the tops of poles would be worth paying to see as well, I'd say. Piglet, I reckon you've volunteered to open the first sideshow at MB. Never mind the ACO and their squeaky clean PC policy of no Walls of Death, Lizard Women or Blow The Punters Eardrums Out, - we can have our very own fair in MB.

...and what about World Touring Cars - our Andy still has a chance of a third championship  ;D   I'm not sure I'm going to be able to survive Macau!

With respect, 'Our Andy' he does, after all, come from Guernsey...
>Martini...

Nah...I used to work with his wife so I can stake a claim to him too  ;D

We used to do drivers sign on juggling baby Sebastian between us all - Jo couldn't bear to watch Andy race (F3 at the time) but she couldn't stand not hearing the commentary so she had to go somewhere she could hear the commentary but not see the track...

OK, you can have him, but you have to take his dad as well  ;D ;D

I fell asleep at about 1 o'clock this morning whilst trying deperately to keep my eyes open to see the end of Petit (still haven't, but happily I recorded it!); watched the Chinese GP over breakfast, Bathurst recording throughout the day, and the Rally of Catalunia just now.  (Not to mention the Rugby and the best European horse race meeting of the year.)  Now we face a month or so of a few scattered final championship events and then a winter of nothing.  Do these people not co-ordinate their schedules?

And why this weekend in particular?
Bathurst... any chance you could burn/record it for myself and Lady PP? Will pay for postage etc. Just hope Ford kicked the Holden  ass... but i doubt it!! Lady PP is a holden fan so one obviously has to go for the opposition! After the rugby... HE HE HE HE

Debs

If you send the 'master' over here, I can make and distribute copies, if that's OK - save you the fag of having to sort heaps of international parcels.

If I might be allowed to chip in at this point, can I add that I managed somehow to squeeze in a morning's shooting on saturday and a sunday trip to Brands Hatch to see the Radicals racing in and amongst this sporting spectacular. Must have been one of the best days of the year for the sportsperson. Heaven!
I wouldn't sit there if I were you, it's still a bit wet.

Nick, race now transcribed onto 3 DVDs - on their way when I get to a post office.

Meanwhile, all, there is a highlights programme on Channel 5 at 3.30 am on Wednesday morning.  Set your recorders!

This looks like a busy weekend too. First (for the English) there is rugby final tomorrow from 7.30 to 10 pm, then half an hour spare to go and see the ALMS final at Laguna Seca. On Sunday there is the FIA GT final at Zolder (I'll be going with Harrison and Pieter 8)), whereafter we have to rush home to see the F1 final in Brasil. Good stuff! :D
