Happened to be flicking through the telly channels last night, and happened to notice a program on BBC4 at 11.15 called Rendezvous.  "It couldn't be" I thought but I set the reminder and watched it and yes it was the famous Rendezvous film.

Top action.  Mad as a hat stand, although, I did feel that the sound effects may have been enhanced, as the engine was happily blatting away, yet overtaking a renault 4 seemed to take a long time.

Stilll, a bit of a class film.

It's available from Spirit level films on DVD and VHS.
Sound and film has been cleaned up.
Passing speeds seem odd because the  film was shot on a very wide angle lens.

i have a windows media file(.asx) of the whole film. The quality/size has been greatly reduced to make it a managable 6mb but its worth a look if you have never seen the film.

If anyone wants it i can email it to them or if someone can suggest somewhere i can upload it so all can access it all the better.

I'm not sure Rusty will be overpleased when he sees this thread. I think he may have something to do with the company who own the copyright to the film.

That's my friend Rich whole owns the rights. He' shipping shed loads of stuff out the door at the moment through plenty of media coverage.
A 6mb file will be very much reduced in quality as said before, so if you want the whole deal and my artwork of course, you'll just have to cough up the necessary.
