If you want the completely anal details register at www.petrolprices.com . Within 10 miles of me cheapest is 104.9, I saw 109.9 yesterday and motorway services are no doubt their usual gouging selves!

Then again ASDA has cooking oil at 70p/litre (in 10l cans).

But would you try it in your new diesel car ??

A Mate has a 05 or 06 Mitsubishi pick-up, and every time he tanks it he puts about £50 in, then tops it up with cooking oil from Morrisons......no harm yet and he's been doing it for ages.
I myself might hesitate at it though tbh.

In short the car manufacturers are not known for certifying anything other than plain old EN-specified diesel for their engines and have even been struggling to nod when bio-diesel blends are shoved in front of them. So in terms of your warranty you get to own both parts.

And, of course, you must register with HMCR and send them 40p (or so) every time you tip a litre from the deep fat fryer into your tank instead of down the drain.  police

Unfortunatly the £ has been suffering against the €.

1.12€ is nearer 88p at the moment if you are buying €'s in the high street.

Hope to get a better rate on a credit card though.

Totally p*ssed off with the Nationwide at the moment, they refused to open a new account to replace the one that's details had been lost by the Child Benefit cowboys.
