How much are the cheapest pushbikes in the major supermarkets?

Cheers to the locals

Nick, you'll probably get one of these for about 30 euros.

That's exactly the sort of thing I was thinking about Steve. Will they have them at Super U, or will I have to go to Carrefour?

100€ should get something reasonable.  There are offers on from time to time too.  I'll have a decco when next in the Supermarkets, but LeClerc have the best range by far.

Cheers Debs.

Don't go out of your way though. After all, I'll have a perfectly serviceable shanks' pony with me.

If you're stuck for space on the way there you could get a foldup bike for less than £50 on Ebuyer
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/133164 wheels could be a bit small for the bumpy stuff but good for the rest :)

There is a bicycle shop on the north end of Le Mans that will rent bikes for
a reasonable amount. Can't recall the name.  You could check with the public information
office in Le Mans, or maybe a local here would know of it.
