This Year's Charities - Question Number One
« on: February 14, 2008, 01:23:04 pm »
All,

As the new season looms on the horizon it's time for us to think about the charities we are going to support this year.  Last year when the charity fund was set up it was decided we would have two permanent charities – the AIRC (Association for International Cancer Research) and the Motorsport Safety Fund – and one that was to change on a yearly basis.  So, my first question is:

Are we happy to continue with this format?

Further questions will follow once I’ve got an overview of how we feel about this.

Cheers
Dx

With what is happening with close members of this forum, I would like to suggest a donation to leuemia research.
Thanks

I would be happy with that.

Le Mans - the how you get there is not quite as important as being there.

Guys,

As much as I appreciate your enthusiasm can we not get ahead of ourselves please?  I will of course take your comments on board when we get to that point in the process but at this stage I only need an answer the question below.    ;)

Thanks

Q1 Yes I am happy with that.
Also happy about adding a third charity, and a Dutch one, given our friends experince's. I dont think we should add anymore and it should be reviewed next year although it dose'nt have to change.

If it ain't broke, why try to fix it?  Personally, I'm happy if things carry on as was agreed last year.

I agree to keep with the existing format..............although wasn't it the AIRC that you struggled to get a response out of?

So you are alive.   ;)

Not the AIRC but the Motorsport Safety Fund.  It wasn't so much difficulty getting a response, just lack of an email address that works so had to resort to the old fashioned form of communication - a letter sent in the post.   ::)
