Biffle baffles all in Pepsi 400 upset
« on: July 07, 2003, 08:57:26 pm »
Not exactly Le Mans, but a hoot all the same! Spent Saturday afternoon/evening amongst the boot-skootin' rednecks at Daytona. Highly entertaining stuff - even if it is all left turns. The very sizeable crowd went frickin' nuts every time 'lil E even hinted at a passing manoeuver and the speedway erupted like Wembley on cup final day when he inevitably took the lead. Unbeknown to everyone (including himself, probably) a little known rookie by the hilarious name of Greg Biffle, was sneakily moving up through the order and with about 15 to go, Earnhardt and Waltrip had to 'splash'n'go leaving Mr Biffle at the front of the 200mph freight train.
It was a great day out - subtle? Hardly. Colouful? Hell Yeah. The 85 degree night-time temp meant that the trailer-trash silicone tits were out in force also. Finally the fireworks at the end would have made the USAF initial assault force on Bagdhad very proud.
All that and still had change for t'tram fare home.

Is a Pepsi 400 the largest bucket size of styrofoam cup they do?
I wouldn't sit there if I were you, it's still a bit wet.
