I think there should be a rethink of the Commer-concept, and maybe get BigH on his bike photoshopped in there ;D

Paddy, you need your eyes testing!!  8) (Stevie Wonder smilie) 8)  BigH was on last year's poster!
I wouldn't sit there if I were you, it's still a bit wet.

I think it'll be later than normal this year Mark, I'm busy writing a Le Mans (not just for Dummies) Good Lavatory Guide for Werner.  :o

Jules

A great tale. Is this this year's first sighting of the famous CA sh*t stories, started back in 2003.

A search under... Anyone bringing a push bike? .....   will bring back memories for a few of the 'regulars' on here.

The story is perfect reading for a LM virgin we are taking this year, and serves to warn everybody of the hazards of the circuit.

Praying for a hot one in 2008.

BryanC

Happy memories Bryan! Are you anything to do with Team Shittysocks? I'd like to take a chunk or two out of that article for the lavatorial "guide within a guide".

I further assume that none of the happy contributors to this forum object to their stories being used, both in, and possible out of, context?

Jules, great Tale, was you that person  ???

Pete, nothing to do with me, I stumbled across it a couple of years ago whilst surfing the net.

The story is perfect reading for a LM virgin we are taking this year, and serves to warn everybody of the hazards of the circuit.

Thanks for reminding me, I will send the link to our LM virgin next. >:D

It also reminds me to scout out a new chemical loo for this year ;)

No - I have my own team memories - thats why my LM Michelin road map has the lower half missing. That reminds me to get another.

Happy days..........

Great read, everytime I go to terte rouge I glance fondly over to where the allotments used to be and recall the small loos that used to be there by the fence.

Saved my bacon once I can tell tell you.

Few feelings compete with the cold clammy sweat of an impending sudden motion.

Some people will tell you that slow is good - and it may be, on some days - but I am here to tell you that fast is better.

Fantastically written tale - I suspect that it may not make it verbatim into the Guide, but boy it has really made my start to the week in the office!  ;D

It is fantastic. I read it whenever I need cheering up, and looking at Donald Trumps hair doesn't quite do the job.

Hi everyone

Just registered after being a saddo and following my referrer links. Its great to find another good le Mans forum! Ill have a good look through everything tonight, I am sure there is hours of interesting stuff here:)

Andy: Yup, I was the poor misfortunate person who had the socks episode, and took it upon myself to write about it to liven up what is a decidedly dull website :) Anybody who wants to quote it, copy chunks etc, feel free, its all yours. Do email me a link to the finished article, I am sure it will be great!

Cheers

Hi, excellent tale of woe, but pleased your typical British Dunkerque Spirit saw you through in the end. I'm glad you've pulled your sock up and joined CA too. Feel free to post any other humourous travelogue type stories.

Thanks for the copyright offer. Toilet Tales of Le Mans, AKA Gripping Yarns, will be sat constipated somewhere deep in the bowels of the 08 CA Guide, so look in here nearer the time and download it from the link at the top of the thread.

I wouldn't sit there if I were you, it's still a bit wet.
