St. Saturnin Classic British Welcome 2008
« on: May 19, 2008, 12:16:31 pm »
Many of you pop by to see us each year but I thought I'd give you a heads up on this year's event. First of all you can look at the web site here:-

http://www.classicbw.org/?ln=UK

As usual I'll be there helping out with the parade and so on. This year the featured make is Ferrari and we have some tasty cars on display for you, like this 1979 512BBLM:-

Also a 275GTB 1966:-

There is a jazz band, plenty of stalls, bars, food and like minded people to meet. More to the point it is FREE! Many use it as a staging point on their way in on the Friday but if you are going there from Tertre Rouge then my advice would be to drive straight north into town until you meet the inner ring road (after carrefour and McDonalds), turn left and follow the ring road until you see the Alencon sign. Take the Alencon road and carry on north until you reach St. Saturnin traffic lights where you turn left and then keep going. If you are coming down the D338 (careful, it was the N138 last year) it's on your way or if coming by motorway then get off at the signpost ZI Nord. Weather permitting, I'll be there in the D type as usual. See you there!

I'll be there in the Purple Peril Sixfire.

I believe FS will be taking his Spider as well.
At my age, it takes me all night to do what I used to do all night!!!!!!!!!!!
Then, growing old is compulsary, but growing up is just optional.

I don't do GREEN, I've got a 4x4

Termietermite told me there will be a Club Arnage Cavalcade on Friday to St. Saturnin, same as last year.
