My Cobra - still not finished the gearbox conversion - extremely unlikely that it'll even get to the Classic
Dick's TR6 (first alternate) - engine rebuild / rebore ongoing - no update recently.

I just got the Alfa back with a brand new spanking door and front wing. It looks good but the door sounds different than the rest.

Just ordered an ABS sensor, £130 and not even sure it's available yet !! If I can't get one I'll have to go with it switched off and stay awake !!

Having just put the second head gasket in as many years (and the third over its shameful 10 year life) on mrs dee's Megane a couple of weeks ago, was it grateful? Was it hell. Last week it promptly shat its little auto transmission to pieces. It now sits in shame on the driveway, having been replaced at the weekend with a slightly less old, less used and hopefully less thirsty focus.

Damn and blast you, French manufacturers. You're all in league with Lucifer, the lot of you  Evil

Anyone want to buy a super Megane, regularly serviced, fantastic runner (as long as you don't want it to go anywhere....  AngryGrin

Just spent £560  Shocked Shocked Shocked on a power steering pump for the Veccy - old one was only 17 months old but out of warranty - £560 represents a 20% discount but I am trying for more - Vx have said no, but the SMMT seem to have taken up my case Smiley

Also sounding a bit clunky on rear nearside - not life threatening, but probably a shocker...

Now got the estimate following Saturdays episode with a motorbike and its circa £15,000 plus the VAT worth of repairs.  4 weeks to do.

I don't think its going to make it to LM !

Randy, that would bring an even bigger smile to my face than the car already does.  The Tin Indian needs the compression raising a bit too.  I'm thinking nice roller rockers / lumpy cam / about 9.5 :1 compression with some re-worked heads.
