CA Charity Donation - Kidney Research

I meant to post this weeks ago, when it actually happened... 

I had the pleasure of visiting the Kidney Research HQ in Peterborough where I handed over a cheque for £732.32, being the other half of the amount raised by CA charities. They raise virtually all their revenue by charitable donations, and are struggling a little this year, so were absolutely delighted with our effort.

Whilst there, they handed me a small pile of leaflets advertising their London Bridges Walk 2008. This takes place on Sunday 6 July at 11:00, starting at Pottersfield, near Tower Bridge. Distance is anout 7 miles, expected to take 2 - 3 hours.

There is an entry fee of £8 per person in advance (or £10 on the day), and all ages are welcome. The flyer mentions special event t shirt, Medal and Certificate and refreshments and entertainment. Here's a link. http://kidneyresearchuk.org/content/view/377/456
