Funny how when the price of fuel goes up your cars seems to do less to the gallon.

Is this a 'Murphy's Law' which I haven't seen? Something like 'Inverse Consequences' or such like.

No, it's because you get so angry being ripped off by HMRC that you find yourself flooring the car away from the PFS, hence less mpg
