Here are 11 drivers who all piloted 917s at some time in their careers (although not necessarily in European series).  The guy on the far right is Michael Keyser.  Who are the drivers?  10 of them are named in the caption I have, so even I have no idea who the 11th one is!

I know who your question mark is - but who's the bloke between Follmer and Elford, Nordic?  He doesn't even make the caption. Huh

9 out of 11 - more than I'd have got if I didn't have the names written down. Smiley

He looks fairly old (!), so I think he could be one of the original test drivers? or some random guy looking for the loo and wandered onto the stage.

Can't place the 4th driver yet, I guess he is not european and not too well know.

Perfect.

Now we only need to establish who the guy is who needs the loo.

I hope he's found the loo by now - he's been waiting since 2007!

I have posted the picture on another site, so should have the answer soon!

Its been suggested the guy next to Piper is J Oliver, and I think it does look alot like him, Larrousse would be a tad older.

btw found the picture on the Vic elford site. some great pictures there!

Mmm.  I thought he looked a bit young to be Larousse (who is 68)- could be JO, couldn't it.  Which would then make me wonder if M. flat hat is Larousse (I told Mr T I thought the mystery man looked French!)

EDIT : There are other pics on the site of Elford and Larousse together so my comment above is definately wrong!

I dont think mystery man is Larousse, I think he would have a bit more style, if you know what I mean, (and he is fairly short!)

Neither do I really (he was pretty damned cute when young!) - see above.
