Even though I can not make it, why not centre of Chester.

There is now a travel lodge and a Wetherspoon pub/hotel now open right in the middle of the city. (need to check if lodge is open yet)

Gordon, the Helsby Arms is fine with me ;), do you want a lift? I can swing by Hoole from the other side of Chester?

I spent a some mid of 20's in the Helsby, well Friday night was Disco night, plenty of posh totty >:D

Still can't come though.

Are we still on for 13th - have we made a booking?  I am getting other offers and cant hold the diary open forever you know!

Also - I am on a training course that weekend, so I wont be getting boozed up and spending the night in a four poster with miscellaneous strange men this time.
