Wot no James Allen ;D ;D ;D
Never argue with an idiot, they'll only drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

NOOOOOOOO COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCK!

TF for that.

Now all we need to do is sort the racing out, and it'll be sorted.

good news about James Allen not on the list, but the position is a poison chalice, so out of the new team which one will fulfill this vital role?

Jonathan Legard will be with Brundle in the box, DC and Jordan will be with Jake Humphrey in the studio. Ted Kravitz and Lee McKenzie will be in the pit lane

So Blundal, Allen and Steve Rider and the bird with with all the bracelets are gone.
Some people will tell you that slow is good - and it may be, on some days - but I am here to tell you that fast is better.

It does seem a bit mob-handed, especially when you think Murray used to do it by himself, till Hunt turned up.

They'd do the same for football

Lorry, as the beeb won back the rights due to it's interactive "press the red button" coverage of major sporting events, I hope there will be the opportunity to link the studio and listen to DC and Eddie J whilst the race is under way. Im actually looking forward to watching some of the races this year., it's looking good, all we need is "the Chain" as the title music.

I always quite liked Simon Taylor as a Motorsports commentator, however Jonathan Legard is very good, and a VAST improvement over James Allen.  I can't help thinking that Hindhaugh should have gone for this job though - make it a promotional campaign to get people interested in sportscars in their masses, then bring back all of the manufacturers in one go.... Toyota, Jag, Porsche, Aston, Bentley, Mazda, McLaren, all going head to head in one, annual, almighty battle.....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm :)

It used to be Le Mans didn't it, albeit not all in the same year?

Good to see a better F1 line up for commentating/punditing.... no more James Allen - hurrah!

Good news about the cock being chucked on the scrapheap, should have happened years ago, what a nob, he'd be more useful commentating WI knitting marathons, getting those wrong !!!

I'm hoping the same cull won't happen to MotoGP as Toby Moody, Juian Ryder and Randy Mamola make up a great team as Eurosport lost the contract to the Beeb. They will no doubt keep the increasingly baggy Suzy Perry, but the remainder of their commentary team particularly Charlie Cox  ( read 'cock') are supremely feeble and certainly don't have the irreverent humour and knowledge of the Eurosport team. A sad loss to British motorsport commentary if they find themselves out on there ears.
