As the title says  Angry

My girlfriend has been banging on about getting a Nintendo Wii and a Wii Fit for months so for a nice surprise for christmas (and because i want one aswell) i orderd them from Play.com. The only issue was that the Fit was coming from another seller but had 100% positive feedback so went ahead with it. The Wii and the extra controller arrived a few days later but im still waiting for the Fit. It has now been a month so i phoned customer sevices on monday and they say it is out of their hand once payment has been made, try contacting the seller. So 15 increasingly abusive sent emails and numerous phone calls to the answer machine later im still £115 out of pocket.

Any ideas where to take it from here guys and gals???

Did the order go thru Play or direct with the other company?

If Play - your contract is with Play and they have to sort?

If the other company - did you order with your credit card - if so give them a ring and they should cancel the payment and send the heavies around (well almost)

Thats what I have been told in the past.

Hope it helps, and I am ready to be corrected

I agree.

You'll have to look at the terms and conditions of Play.com to see if they wriggle out of responsibility.  I'll have a look in a minute

I'd rely on clause 2
Your contract for purchases made through the Site is with Play.com, and you undertake that any and all goods ordered by you are for your own private and domestic use only.

They're taking the PI$$

On the assumption that you get your money back, and you're still looking for a Wii Fit, then you'll have trouble.

It seems to be this years 'must have'.

I spent a good couple of days looking for one, even got a friend in Luxembourg to try & find one.

In the end the only place with decent stock at proper prices was Amazon France.

Mine was ordered Wednesday & due to arrive Saturday for €93.40 delivered.

There are some right rip offs on Ebay looking for £89.99 plus £34.99 P&P !!!

Apparently this aint the 1st time this guy has tried this. Also,i informed play of this and they are looking inti it and i'll get £10 off my next order.

And i managed to get a Wii Fit off fleaBay for £22 less and its brand spanking new so good news all round  Grin
