As I've temporarily moved back to Chertsey for the 'dole' registration etc, I'm about 4 miles away from Brooklands.

Looks rougher than ours with the gutter rot and body rust so should be cheap enough... not like they are in huge demand!! ;D

The plan is for a welcoming party on Saturday the 4th when we return home in the mighty beast.
First stop (apart from fuel!!) is my local, The Rising Sun, Wootton where it would be good to have a welcoming party waiting for the grand arrival. All the locals are primed and ready but it would be good to have a few CA'ers there too... with cameras.
Andy Zarse, JP Chenet and Vegas! have already expressed an interest and Rusty will be along too so we could make a mini event of it..
I can accomodate a few, Andy mentioned bringing the Commer and there is tent room at PP Towers and B&B nearby.
I can book our local Indian (who will hopefully be sponsors of The Popemobile) and a jolly good piss up can be had. I will need it after the drive home ;D

Perdu, the Poemobile has been there along that road for many years. Give her some credit, she should know the way by now.

Now you've stirred a terrible thought...... Lady PP wouldn't be driving but there could be a Melans Melanmobile that could ride in rolling roadblock formation with ours... if QV is up for it, then it can live at mine.. Leftie.. phone Brooklands! NOW!! ;D

and she is dainty, which I know acos of I have the photographs... (still)

And the thought of a pink Melansmobile wending its way in convoy with the old stagers is still tickling ME pink!

Bloodyhellinawetdream can you imagine the Melans and Lady PP in a Panther on Bleu Nord with a couple of Gimpies?

That should put the sh!tes up the pikies, certainly does me!
