Rex, I do feel that you are being very unkind to us all here ..... Not only do we not have any pics of the progress being made on the Popemobile, we don't even have a few 'tasters' of the pyre you made of the old soundproofing ......  ::) :'(
Once I have extracted them from my hateful nokia I will post some... it was rather warm!! >:D
What do you mean dust?.... Thats not dust, this is dust! Ich Habe Honda S2000 and its not mine!

......and they test all sorts of hideous old horse lorries etc.
I've heard about these.  They pass the MOT alright, but the urine rots the floorboards and as fast as they try, you can't get a horse to do 50mph Flintstone style down the M27.

I was confident you'd put the fix in.  If they can't plug the 'mobile into the computer, they've probably written out the certificate already.

We still want to see the photos

Yes Lorry, I've heard about that from my farmer friend.  Apparently, it's not a pretty site when you open up the back of the box after a 100 mile drive and find that the poor old nags legs went through the floor 80 miles ago.  Tarmac can be quite abrasive at 60 mph!

Far worse than the dumb animals that get goped gravel rash at Le Mans.

They use urine proof plastic floors now.  That would be handy for quite a few tents at Le Mans, and the 'mobile

Do you think we have an embarressed silence, or is Rex still celebrating?

I don't suspect he's in a state to do anything technical.  I got a lift back from Steves with him this morning, and one of his eyes started going squiffy - He went to bed last night, and all I know is that Steves bedroom is now absolutely covered in white polystyrene balls - I can't even imagine what happened preceeding this.

Being the only other person in the car who was both sober, and a holder of a valid driving licence, it was decided I should drive.....

last I heard, he was parked up on Hayleys lawn.......which is a talent, given that she lives in a flat......

If he didn't tell anybody the result on Saturday, then it sounds a bit ominous.
More spanner work needed?

He did tell us the result - but I dare not tell anyone the hilarious episode - I do believe that story is reserved for the man himself.....
