Spoke to Rex a couple of hours ago and the FormerlyKnownAsPopeButNowCalledSomethingElseAsYetUndecidedMobile is so far suffering from a flat battery and something which can only be called "Ferry Coordination f**k-Up"

They arrived in plenty of time for the 09:30 crossing from Portsmouth, the only trouble being that their ferry left at 08:30  ::)

They are currently enjoying far too much kronenbourg on the 09:15 Brittany Pirates crossing to Cherbourg where they will then have to be jump started off the ferry and go shopping for a new battery.

Expect the Bedford to roll into BN around 9-10pm tonight, battery permitting

Popemobile Update:  On the ferry, Stinky Bill is naked.  Fortunately he is clean at the moment.

The battery is fooked, and there were major doubts about the height of the vehicle on loading, but its all gone in, and she's on her way - god only knows what will happen when they get off at the other side......
