Indeed it is, saw it on Friday [unless you're my director, in which case it was Saturday  Grin] and that's what prompted me to post it up.

Just a shame I couldn't remember which thread it was in.

Pass me another beer please...

I have to admit that the current (real) popemobile was a bit of a disappointment.  Plus if you're going to make a bulletproof car, having opening windows is a bit of a liability.  Cameron turned up in the bulletproof Jag, and they took Benny the 16thd away in a BMW with foot thick windows.

Anyway, I suspect the RHD ML based popemobile is now on Ebay and could make a nice campervan.  Not sure about the white paint job.

And Landman - please - High Octane Petrol is for racing, alcohol is for drivers, diesel is for tractors taxis and Landrovers

and beyond high octane petrol (in a nod to Mr Brown's proclivities) a blend of nitromethane and methanol gives you 4.428 seconds over a quarter mile from a standing start.  Wonder what alcohol Mr Schmacher drinks to do that....

Alcohol is also another name for methanol - as used by dragsters of that ilk.  Not as volatile and powerfull as nithromethane, but still does the business.

I also forgot that diesel is for.... errrrm Lorrys as well.  I blame the alcohol, which reminds me, methanol is wood alcohol and makes you blind - yes I know you all thought it was just w**king.  Why is my eyesight so bad? Shocked

You're either at Le Mans, or waiting for Le Mans!

PM spotted on the M25 close to M23 junction at 5pm yesterday. Must have been interesting to be driving it and watch other drivers reaction, it's not often you see a mobile control tower on a British motorway.

Yes, David piloted the truck to his place just outside Ashford Kent on Sunday. It should have gone to Randolfs, but unfortunately his place wasn't going to be ready for a couple of weeks.

Second stage of work and repairs will commence in the next couple of weeks and hopefully this time the full decals and dressing will be sorted before it's return to BN next year and without missing the bleeding ferry this time.

Any news on your fridge Bob Huh
