So, at the present time there is not a great entry. Fingers crossed for the next two days! I'll post the follow-up press release when i get it.

Or one could check the ACO website where (for a change) the info is up-to-date

http://www.lemans.org/sport/sport/actu/2009-01-20_GD_3629_gb.html

Good to see the Corvettes officially confirmed btw

don't look surprised if they withdraw at some point this year, it still isn't going to well with the mothercompany!

This is not a list of those that have entered, rather one that shows who have had an auto entry and if they have taken it up.

In addition to those listed, we could add the 2 Audi R10s for Muckle, 2 P1 Astons for Prodrive, the Goh P2 Porsches plus the usual odds and sods from Courage, Pesca , Lola and Zytec into both P1 and P2.

I very much doubt we will see a grid as empty as we did in the early 90's in fact think it will be the usual 50+. I wont comment on the quality.

Might just open up the field for some privateers if the factory entries are down.  Be interesting to see what comes out as the next updated list, given that the 21st Jan deadline has now passed.

Well the ACO are being very bullish with the latest news on entries

http://www.lemans.org/sport/sport/actu/2009-01-29_GD_3634_gb.html

82 entries for 55 places. down side is we will have to wait until February for the official entry list Roll Eyes

See they've tried to pinch our catchphrase - it says at the bottom "Not long to go now"

20 French entries, most of them will probably get in.

Prehaps the ACO should introduce a new award:- Most arm waving and Gallic shrugs in the pit lane.

New entries will have stiff competition if last years performance from Peugeot is anything to go by. Wink
