Ah

is that real Ringwood or silly little cans sort of thing

as you are aware these things matter to a gennulman of the boozing persuasion...

I can (and indeed have for 60+ years) live without any quantities of fermented beef-ish food with spices to kill the germs, but a BEER is a BEER...

This is important

or do we need a volunteer to dash to La Belle Patrie for box after box of 1664 from a handy Carrefour someplace?

it's a worry...
"Ha ha you can't a fool me, there ain't a no sanity clause!"

If we can persuade Paddy in coming over, we could fill up his van with kegs of the lager we brought down to Le Mans the last few years. :P

This film should be played at high volume, so don't come complaining about it! And who the hell is Steve?

Ringwood bitter sounds excellent.  Local cask beer should only have to travel just over the next hill.

Boondoggle should go well in August with Old Thumper for 'later'. http://www.ringwoodbrewery.co.uk/boondoggle.htm

Good research Steve.
Boondoggle is indeed a fine summer brew and Old Thumper is definaltly best saved for later due to its staggerability!
Thatchers Dry Cider is a 6% beauty which if drunk in quantity produces some unusual effects!!

On a more pleasant note..... the hog roast machine is confirmed. Spoke to the owner/builder and we can have it fo free on condition of an invite. Deal! ;D
Just waiting for the land owner to return from Oz and then we will know whats happening... Hog roast mas has his stel fabrication unit on the owners farm so will put in a good word.
Fingers crossed!!
Numbers interested pushing 100 with my local friends included and 40+ CA crew at last count.

Lets hope it happens ;D

I'm a little slow to react to this...
but as usual - I'm in.

Who needs Le-mans when you have a field, and the odd wild horse like thing to ride around all night......?
