Well at least I now know who Perry McCarthy is, even if he might not be The Stig.  :P   Do let us know how the jumping off the bridge goes Robbo ;D  You could even start a new thread on the subject...............Robbo Attempts......... :o

Please, don't let me be accused of trying to stop free discussion!

It's just that as a regular on the forum from which the threads above were posted, I feel like the whole topic has been done to death...whole chunks of my life disappeared into reading who the Stig might have been...

But then I always thought 'The Stig' was Nigel Mansel... but they decided to keep him covered because the mystery of his identity was infinitely more interesting than his real personality...  ::)

Just to kill the f***er stone dead....

An Observer reporter who covered LM this year let slip in his article that Perry was Stig. I don't think he realised it was meant to be a secret, and JC and crew (not Matthew, Mark, Luke etc, but the other one) were a bit hacked off with him.

Do a search with 'Observer, Stig, Le Mans and lovely scrotum', and you should find it.

Anyway, I tried the search, but I forgot to put in the 'Observer', so it was...

'Stig, Le Mans and lovely scrotum'

And all I got back was a link to a CA Moderator...

What does that mean???  ::)
