Actually, just so as to save you guys a few ticks, and some embarrassingly scrotal returns, here's the article here:

It's not a bad read, although the journalist was obviously not their motor racing correspondent. The number of publications that are represented at LM is pretty staggering, 2500 reporters and 800 titles, he reckons. I remember being stopped and asked to chat to a reporter from the Wall Street Journal a couple of years ago, what the Cliff was he doing there!!!???

Having an all expenses paid beano in Europe I suppose. You can't knock it.

Errr, well, it's important information, that's for sure...

There's quite  a range of conditions it could be in I suppose.

I mean, does it resemble the skin of a grizzled old pickled French walnut that's been on the back of the top shelf on your Grannies larder waiting for Great Uncle Geoffrey to return home from the Crimea (and no-one's had the heart to tell her that the bounder was shot as a conshy). Or is it a Mach 3 smooth, blemish free wundersac that your mistress could wear as a hat on Ladies Day at Ascot?

The truth will win out in the end, or at least adjacent to it.

If you are THAT interested, I have a scan of them from a few years back - and they just go on getting prettier...so I'm told anyway

Not sure I want to post the scan really...but rest assured, it was a false alarm and I still have both of them...

Although I'm a little shocked at the level of thought and detail of BigH's comparisons... very witty though they are!  ;D

I think what Smokie is saying is that they are more of a LadyShave stubbled pair of hourse bags which despite there rugged leathery exterior, they are in good working order...

Just to drag this thread kicking and screaming away from the subject of Smokie's happy sacks (sorry Smokie, raining on your parade again!!!!), but herewith proof of El Pel dressing up as someone else again, this time as Bob Cramer for the Besson extravaganza last year.



Seems Perry likes pretending to be other people, bet he's popular at Christmas time with the kids! (sorry to ruin that for any of you that still believe!!)
