I think you're quite right.  Is it the time to give the ACO some feedback, as after 22 years booking as a member, we don't get MB, but a total stranger booking via an agency does

And what baffles me is that the block of grandstand tickets was always the same but was broken into two rows (not together) about 5 years ago, and now its in three rows.  So whatever the system is must be really obscure

The agencies can charge what they like for camping, these are in limited supply so they can charge a premium. GAs are not the same and can be bought on the day , so why do most agencies make it a condition to buy 2 GAs at a premium! Aco dont make it a condition when buying camping passes.

Also the previous comparison of waitrose and asda was meaningless, the quality of a camping pass for a given site is the same no matter where it purchased.

That attempt at humour obviously failed......
Of course I buy green cars, my Aston is green, my MGB is green, my Disco Sport is green,  oh, that's not what you meant by green?

The reason for the bundle of a camping pass and two GAs, is so that the mark up is split between 3 tickets rather than one.

Why does the ACO support "touting" when even eBay tries to stop it.  The ACO should give the agencies a discount so they can sell for face value.

If you can afford it pay it, if you can't or don't want to, then don't.  It's as simple as that surely?

I don't use agencies, but then I don't need camping passes, so as far as I can tell the only reason to use them is to get your choice of campsite rather than the seemingly random ACO allocation!

Yes the agencies, charge more than the ACO,  but we all have a choice!  Same as where you buy your groceries from, if you are a cheapskate and suicidal you go to Asda, if you want decent food you go to Waitrose ;D

At the end of the day those that use Agencies accept the price they pay, end of story!
I managed to find 20 KN tickets for us through an agency..... £4000.
Thats Harrods money.... >:(
What do you mean dust?.... Thats not dust, this is dust! Ich Habe Honda S2000 and its not mine!
