help to find non-A.C.O camping...
« on: March 24, 2009, 09:10:52 pm »
HELP…
I need to get a place to parking/camp this year at Le Mans.
Everything is sold out so now I’m looking for a ‘privat’ (read non-A.C.O) camping.
Does someone here have some contacts in Arnage or around the south part of the track??
Please help me out here.
Thanks
Alex

Have you tried the site at Spay? It is near to Arnage. I know people who have stayed there and said it is a very good site.

Or, The Bounty. A fishing lake two miles south of Mulsanne bend on the Tours road. Loads of camping spaces, english breakfast available, not dear and spaces available. Call them on 00 332 43 22 20 20. Speak to Alan or Kim.

Le Mans is for the week......not just 24hrs!

Re The Bounty, here is a link to thier site.

I have thought about using this place in the past, mention Club Arnage and yo may even get a discount!

let us know how you get on.

Contact details for Sapy can be found here.........

Apparently the phone no. is for the local council office (!) who deal with the camping bookings, or something bizarrely French like that. And there's no email either.

Not really all that bizarre.  It is a council owned site (not uncommon over 'ere).
