Reading Beer Festival.
« on: April 20, 2009, 11:27:14 pm »
I know it's unlike most of you guys to drink.

However,  I know some of you have ventured in to the Kings Meadow in the past.

The last time I went the queue to get in was ridiculous.  None the less I will be there again this year does anyone else have plans to go?

Hmmm ...  I don't have much planned for that weekend and as I haven't been for a few years I may well pop along this year.

Are you going on Saturday Tom?

Please god, no - the hangover last time was beyond being painful!!

Doris - I'm likely to attend as it's the final day of the football season - it would be rude to break the beer day tradition.

Rex....No excuses - you can stop with me.....

IIRC the last time you saw me at Reading Beer Fest you were so twatted that once it was all over you couldn't actually remember seeing me.  I, on the other hand, saw at least two of you.   ;D

See you there.

If you find my liver there can you bring it to LM?

I'll thank you not to cast doubt on my character young Doris....

I do not believe we did meet at Reading Beer Festival....in fact I'm quite certain we didn't...however, my brain may have been slightly under the influence of alcohol..... :D

I believe large chunks of my liver to still be in Houx Annexe, however I believe there may be a small slither in the Kings Meadow, waiting to be reclaimed.  It's a great day out - especially when combined with a football match - get there early or you'll end up waiting in the queue for 2 hours, like I will undoubtedly end up doing given that I'll be arriving straight after the game (about 4)......

I went down to hte Site to help with the set up and this year they seem to have at least twice the amount of tent area.  I.E. Two Huge Marquees and a smaller one Though I'm not sure how much outside space there will be.  Hopefully that means there will be shorter Queues to get in.
