« on: April 21, 2009, 11:29:25 am »
My wife is attending this year, and wants me to buy her lunch on Thursday of race week.(Bit of a cheek, really, I'm taking her to the race) Any suggestions of somewhere walking distance of Houx?
 Any help would be apprecited.

Cheeky.
I would suggest jumping on the tram and going into town would be the easiest thing to do.

Surely it's only a few feet for her to walk to the bbq????  She can get you some at the same time ;D

But, serioulsy, if you don't want to drive then the Tram into town is your best bet, plenty of places to eat there.
Of course I buy green cars, my Aston is green, my MGB is green, my Disco Sport is green,  oh, that's not what you meant by green?

I would suggest searching this site, there have some recomendations for restaurants in the past, in town and in the general area.
The CA guide probably has some in, you can download that soon when it is released.

Lunch?  Eating's cheating, surely.

A bottle of Normandy's finest Cidre Brut (best served chilled) will do her.    ;D
