I orderd the Le Mans 24hr game for the playstation today. With a bit of luck it will be here for the weekend to have fun with a few beers.

It may even make the trip to france if the bus our driver is getting us has a tv  Grin
Is that the old LM game for the playstation with Tiff Needell commentating or is there a new version?

Not sure about Tiff but its not that new Steve. Its on the PS2.

Think it's the same as the one I've got Mike with wobbly graphics but at least it's got fireworks and dazzling sunshine in your eyes at dawn.

I must have a PS1 then. Does the new game play on it?

My husband was playing PS2 at Sebring this year....does anyone know of any video game that has Sebring on it, we can't find any?  He's quite proficient at LeMans already.

I have the old PS2 version of Test Drive Le Mans as well as the even older Dreamcast version, the only real difference being that the PS2 version had more recent cars availabe.  It was a good game, especially since it did go through changing weather and realistic dusk and dawn.  The only problems I had with it were that if you set the weather to variable, it didn't tell you what the weather was at the start, and it was a bit too easy.  You shouldn't be able to win overall in a Corvette.

Now I just use Gran Turismo since the track is more up to date.

We're getting in the mood for it even though we're not going!  The weather here in Dorset is beautiful.  We had my Dad (and his twin brother's) 75th birthday party in the garden yesterday and the weather was superb, we've got loads of beer left over though, clearly our friends and family here don't drink beer in the same quantities as the rest of you - we definitely over bought!

We're watching BSB, WTCC & our new F2 championship with the patio doors open so making the most of the motorsport and the sunshine and getting in practice for LM.   Hopefully we'll keep this weather for LM weekend and we'll do the same thing - with the addition of a tent to sleep in!

I'm even wearing my DfH Keep Drinking T-shirt!   Grin

Sat outside in the sun for luncheon at a restaurant in Boulogne yesterday, pate de compagne, beef bourgionne, creme brulee, washed down with a pichet of chilled rose and a expresso.
Watching the Gallic world go past.
Definatley in the mood now. Grin
