Yes, I saw the news of the demise of the PMD a week or so ago and was not impressed.
To me, Pontiac have always been about sporty cars - they launched the muscle car era with the original GTO - whereas Chevrolet (apart from the Corvette) were basically a pick up truck builder

We've had a few Pontiacs here at Chateau Brune. A '76 Trans Am (whose engine is now in the cobra), an '84 Fiero and a 2000 Trans Am and now a Aussy Monaro - from which the recent GTO was derived (all were / are red, coincidentally).
But for me, the one on my 'want' list would be a 1973 Trans Am 455 SD / 4 speed.
Andy - agreed, the Aztec is shite. The current G8 is a HSV (Holden) Club Sport / Vauxhall VXR8.
