In the past, I asked nicely at the Aston team in the paddock and they plugged my camera battery charger in to their power in a spare socket. Phone you should be able to charge in the car. Lap top ask one of the local campers that has an RV.

Sean on the way to winning the Nurburgring 24 Hours in May.

Devastating news ,  like  Kristof has said Sean was one of the greatest talents in GT racing. I was very happy to witness him win the Nurburgring 24 Hours in May for Mercedes. A little ironic that the Spark model of that winning car is due for release this month.

Also had the pleasure of shaking his hand at Sebring last March.

R.I.P    Sean Edwards

No Fran, the exhausts are pointed upwards so the blast exits in front of and above the driver. Personally I favour the 3 Allison engines or 5 supercharged Chevy route for power when it comes to tractor pulling but turbines are also impressive. Each Chevy putting out around 2500 HP. Grin

An update for everyone that kindly offered advice and help.

Thankfully the ombudsman found in my sisters favour about 3 days before the planned trip and they had to underwrite her insurance policy. So the family got to go to Florida together and she got to see her kids having fun making memories together as she had wanted. We all had a good time and it was nice to go on holiday together as a family after so many years. We got home from the holiday on 12th June and no medical care was needed on the trip.

Unfortunately in the 5 or 6 weeks since getting home, the cancer got worse and spread. Sadly my sister died at home yesterday afternoon. But we are grateful that we got to have those precious 14 days together in Florida before it was too late.

R.I.P  Elisa Ager. Love you always.

It hasn't been officially announced yet by Sebring as they are busy with ticket sales for next years race as they went on sale this week, but I have had an e mail to tell me that my video officially got the most views so I have won the contest.

Many thanks to all the people that took the time to take a look at my video and help me win the contest.  Smiley

Thanks, never thought of that. The wedding is near Colsterworth just off the A1 and the ceremony is being held in the venue so the transport is for the (a) groom & best man, (b) bride & father, (c) bridesmaids, a trip of about 5 miles from the brides parents house to the venue.
Like the idea of the Ghostbusters car - it's in the Haynes motor museum!

You could have the groomsmen turn up in it wearing Ghosterbusters outfits that rip off Staus Quo suit style with velcro down the sides with their proper suits on underneath. Would be really cool. But would need someone with a sound system outside the church to play the Ghosterbusters theme as they pulled up for full effect.

Want to be different, how about hiring Ecto1 Ghostbusters car. Sure your son would love it however your future daughter in law may never speak to you again. Grin

Why not, after partying friday night, we are up at 8 am to be in the circuit for 9:30 am, then sit there all day in the sun waiting for the start at 3pm and in the mean time drinking home made strong red wine given to us by the french group behind us and add to that our own whiskey. why wouldn't we fall asleep ! Thanks Geoff, yes they are just counting the number of views but are maybe checking IP addresses to see if there are multiple clicks.  Counter never seemed to change once it got to 301 views but hopefully it was still counting.

My Go Pro Hero Fan Contest Video is now online to view for the next 12 Hours. Think a lot of my Sebring friends are going to like it as it features a great number of them and tributes to missing friends as well.

The direct link is below.

Thanks

I think they will probably be available to view again once all 5 videos have had their respective 12 hour voting period.

To view the film, please visit www.sebringraceway.com and click on the "YouTube - Watch Sebring Raceway TV" tab on the far right hand side of the webpage under the Facebook and Twitter tabs.

Hopefully my video should appear from here, but if not please click on ""2013 GoPro Ultimate Fan Experience" which is under Playlists a bit further down the screen. There should only be one video viewable (mine) as the others are disabled and listed as private video as each video is only activated during the 12 hour voting / viewing period for each video.

This should be viewable from 3:45pm and will be online for 12 hours. It can only be viewed on a PC though as it hasn't been activated to be viewed on a mobile phone but there isn't anything I can do about this unfortunately.

Many thanks for your help and appreciate any hits that the forum members can generate for my competition entry and fingers crossed that my film gets the mosts hits. I am looking forward to see how they editted my 1 hour and 30 minutes of footage down to a short 3 minute film.

I hope to be able to provide a direct link once it goes online in a few hours.
