Hopefully the 2007 guide will be even more popular than the 2006 one and will be read by the minority who are ruining it for the majority!!!

Coherent speech was a struggle for some of them so I think reading would be out of the question...   Undecided

Coherent speech was a struggle for most of us at some point over the weekend!!  Wink

Out of the Spa 24 thread has come a suggestion (from me initially and seconded and thirded!) that we might think about guides to other events and circuits.  Spa is quite tricky to find your way around if you're a newbie and the follow up suggestion was that a guide to all LMS circuits might be helpful.

FS, Werner what do you think?

You're either at Le Mans, or waiting for Le Mans!

Yeh me too.

Surely too much work for one editorial team along with the LM guide and the  rest of their lives away from this forum.

I'd agree, nothing wrong with a sub group to begin work, but don't forget your main responsibilities of getting the LM 2007 sections in on time. FS

I agree to some extent (that's why you didn't see me volunteering!)

A guide to Spa might be quite achievable - not in the same depth as the Le Mans guide but just with the basics of how to get around the circuit, parking etc.   Most of us don't only go to one race a year and Spa is a very popular venue and one that's well worth going to.

Maybe if I get bored over the winter.......
(after I've written my marshalling section for LM of course Mr FS!)

Piglet, there is a section about the British marshalls who work at Le Mans every year in The British at Le Mans book. Ever thought of having a bash yourself or is the pull of the party atmosphere too strong?

OOPS sorry Peter I forgot you didn't want any chit chat on here

[sorry Peter..] Bob, the lure of the party is too strong for me  Grin  There is a strong Brit contingent though and I'm hoping to get some input from them for that section of the guide .....so bringing it back on topic if there is anyone reading this who is a LM marshal please do get in touch with me!

On my way back from the UK yesterday, I dropped in at the 24 hour petrol station in the Carrefour at Calais. (Cite de l'Europe).  Glad to see that it now takes ALL CREDIT AND DEBIT CARDS including UK ones. Smiley
