Piglet suggested I post here to mention the zoning issue. I know zoning is mentioned in C11, but very breifly, and we now know that MB and Bleu Nord and Sud are definately zoned. Zone maps would be handy too, especially for those with split allocations.

Also, a minor error I noticed in C11 is about camping passes needing to be fixed to windscreens, which is now no longer the case, being mirror hanger type now.

Yup, and I'll fix the text a bit Werner as there's a bit about the sticky c/p and camping tickets too. Roll Eyes

The one for MB is shown here:

http://www.clubarnage.com/forum/index.php?topic=6354.msg79749#msg79749

But don't forget the ACO missed off a road from this map - see

http://www.clubarnage.com/forum/index.php?topic=6354.msg79782#msg79782

I don't remember anyone ever posting one for Bleu.

Hi Del,

yes, I've seen that one already, but someone has scribbled on his one, for the guide I'd like to have a tidy one....

Hi Werner, not exactly the same as a printed map, but over at Beer Mountain we have the zones marked out on some arial photos. I don't know if these would be of any use to you.

Hi, wonderful, and most likely no copyright issues with this one Grin Would team beermountain allow CA to use it for the guide? Whoever made it would of course get the credits!

I will ask the original supplier of the images if this is OK, but I should see no problems.  Smiley

here is the image I picked up from the ACO office a few weeks back. The track is on the left and the entrance to MB is middle right. No pitches are numbered so as usual it will be a free for all but they tell me next year all pitches here will be numbered.

Hi,

I just looked at the "How to get tickets" section.  c26-tickets.pdf   Page two Camosite Ticket paragraph has a "M" before the Maison Blanche.

Hi all,

thanks for all comments and assistance so far.

Now a have a tricky request, probably one for the old hands of the forum: For the illustration of the introductory chapter I could need 2-3 pictures from Le Mans races say in the 60's or 50's. Has anyone got some pictures taken by himself Grin or his/her dad/grandfather ? Actually anything pre 1975 could be interesting. As we need to stay clear of copyright issues I do not want to snatch something from other websites

Cheers
