We stop at the Shell petrol station where the wind mills are, think its called Aire de la Ballon (or something like) its the first drink of cheaper fuel, shall we make that a stop this year?
Dont worry Stu, pretty soon you'll be able to stay in a luxury 5 star hotel on a campsite for only €35 per night...................yer right l often think back to the first time l went and sit in the pit balcony above the Jaguar pit back in 87........................sometimes change is not such a good thing
The atmosphere has gone a bit there but still worth the trip, reduced menu and reasnobly priced, about €15 plus drinks. We go at about 10pm, might be worth booking if you want to go earlier
Just looking at the webcam, perhaps the French are going to use the slope for the thier ski jump team to practise in advance of the olympics.
The village, now heres a thought...............................some may say is quaint and one of the last surviving relics of the good old days (l agree), however inline with modernisation dont be suprised if the newe and "better" village has: Macdonalds, Starbucks, Phones4u and of course a Weatherspoons amongst its retailers
