Got the refund finally, just took a few days longer than I expected.

Got the WEC app, so watching the whole thing.
Well until I doze off of course, not getting any younger!!

Update.
According to Sanef it's deployed on the Paris-Normandy route (A13 and A14) and at the Boulay free flow tollgate (A4 exit 36).
Tags will still work, which is good, having to make multiple payments to different autoroute companies within 72 hours would be a pain if you driven across LBF for your holidays.

Has anybody sold their tickets through the resale site?
If so how was your refund handled?
Back to the original payment card or by another method?

Can't find my refund anywhere at the moment!

I had heard something about this happening.
Where about did you encounter them being removed Kev?
Big Brother is watching our every move.

As long as the tags are still working it won't affect us .

Probably not Barry. The ACO don’t seem to want it remembered. Sees it only warrants a tiny plaque on the pit straight wall

That's what I understood and expected.
Shame especially as most of the people killed were locals.

Does anybody know if there are any plans to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the 1955 accident on June 11th or at any time during the week?

Hi All
Have seen the QR code…
Also bought access to the ACO area at La Chappelle. Anyone have any idea where that shows or do you present your membership card?
DW

In past years you had to go to the ACO building on the pit straight to pick up a wristband and a goody bag. The wrist band will get you into the fan area at La Chappelle and the ACO building where you can use the showers and decent bogs. They also have lockers you can use to save you carrying your sh*t backwards and forward from the campsite. Plus the beer in there is cheaper than the rest of the circuit.

You were also able to get the wristbands at the entrance of La Chapelle ACO area, although last time I used it it was pre covid and free for members!
Certainly Wed/Thurs.
Did hear that the areas have been rammed on the race days, like everywhere else.

QR codes have been activated!

So envious of those who are going this year

As am I, except for the 2 covid effected races this will be first one I've missed since I started going in 2002!
Hopefully my health will have improved sufficiently for a return in 2026.
11  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re: ACO ticket app on: May 23, 2025, 12:33:01 am
My entrance ticket was deleted off the app while I was asleep last night!
Not happy and emailed the ACO to that effect.
I have a feeling that the only way it will get sorted is if I sell the ticket I have and buy a replacement.
Ticket still listed on my tickets section in the ACO website though, so I can do that.
I'm sure these ticket apps work well at say rugby matches, when you only have to show your ticket once to get in, but I have doubts that it will work without issues at LM.
Bandwidth? Multiple requirements to have the QR code scanned?
Will probably pay to get physical tickets next year, can do without the stress.
12  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re: CA Gathering 2025 ? on: May 20, 2025, 02:45:15 pm
I went into Houx a couple of times last year, didn't have a camping ticket for Houx, only required to show an entrance ticket.
However with the new QR codes who knows what will happen!
13  Club Arnage / Sell Or Swap / Re: Confused: looking for weekend GA’s to buy, have week GA’s and Tribs to sell on: April 27, 2025, 08:32:44 pm
Weekend tickets are appearing on the resale site, there was one up at 16.35 this afternoon, but like all tickets you have to be fast.
14  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re: Telegram notifications re tickets. on: April 26, 2025, 10:27:09 am
How does this work? I don't know Telegram but it feels like it's a home for Russian hackers?

Messaging service, pings you when LM tickets come up for sale on the resale site with a direct link to it.
Used it for the last 2 years, works really well.
Quite a few tickets yesterday, mostly BJ and Prairie, but an Eppi did become available.
Some of the tickets were reposts as the resale site gives you 10 minutes to buy the ticket then relists.

Should be up and running again, I contacted Ander, who checked and found the bot was down.
