Year before last glass bottles  (stubbies) were a no, I guess wine bottles to, so no cheap Champaign cork fights at the Poo bar. remember the irate Frenchman whos car got pelted with a shower of them,  he stopped and got the biggest Axe out of his boot, everyone just laughed at him (about 200 of us), he soon saw the funny side of the situation.😂😂😂

Shame you and Sam wont be making it Neil, was looking forward to catching up at the Stella bar on Thursday evening. Have a good wedding, hopefully see you in 2020 👍

Clucking Bell - We (Evil Sam & me) are not going this year - Sad

22 years of first going to Le Mans - this will only be my 2nd one I will miss!

Due to family comitments (wedding) in Scotland, I can not get the pass to get to Le Mans this year,

funny really, put my our name down for tickets as soon as the race finised, booked the ferry the day after they were released, 1st time in my life I have been organised - and now can't go

But don't worry, I shall have my Le Mans drinking trousers on and will be drink Loch Lomand beer and Whisky.

Have a great time all - and We shall return 2020 !

Big Irta resides in Kent with Mr Hardie, it was repaired and is fully functional, however its LM days are done due to its fragility and the cost of getting it there and back.

Did this ever get fixed? Where is it these days?

after Westminster, Manchester and London, there is bound to be a heightened level of security, the best thing we can do is to be as compliant and helpful as we can and be patient when going through checks, maybe take the minimum we can into the track, double check that our bags don't have anything that could cause concern.

I don't think you have to pre book at silverstone farm and they say that if it gets busy they just open another field so, weather dependant, could be an option.

The Wills generations (Brad Zak Max and I) have booked the Caravan into Silverstone Farm Campsite in the village for Saturday and Sunday night. If anybody fancies joining us, it's 15 / night / Adult with electric hook up, (12 for a tent) apparently about a mile from entrance but as parking is free that's fine. Will be sparking up the BBQ to burn food in the evenings. Not Sure if doing ELMS, depends what time we arrive.

So a change of plan, the tickets came through as Saturday only, Brad has a Sound Engineering Gig in Kent so can not make it with the Boys. Myself and buddy Andy ( the man who took me to my first LM) will be there Saturday, prob from mid morning till late, stay over until Sunday morning.
