Just worked it out - extra £300 in petrol money. Oh bugger it!

Still cheaper than actually OWNING one for a few days!!!!  Maybe you could 'sell' rides down the Mulsanne........ (I'd give ya 50 cents) .... :D

Now there's a thought Fran although the insurance company might have something to say about offering rides "for reward". Mind you, I don't think 50 cents counts as a reward cheapskate!!!!!

I don't think it will be at all safe at the circuit - my driveway is a much better option.

Not to put too much of a dampener on things but how good a client is he? And will he still be a client if you come back with a wing hanging off?
I always stay too long. Long enough for something to go wrong

And you've got to do the Cavalcade now, of course! :police:

You could easily recoop that by raffleing it of at the DfH do.  If you went about it the right way I reckon you do get at least £900 that would be £300 for Petrol, £300 for Charity and the other  you could give to the client.      Thus everyones a winner.   ;D ;D

Well, as clients go he's worth circa £23m. What's a Bentley wing amongst friends?

Do you mean raffling it for someone to take home with them or just for rides around the MB campsite?
Taking it back with a few scuff marks is one thing - not taking it back at all may raise a few client / supplier issues!!!!!

My guess is he means raffling it for rounds around Steve. ;D

This film should be played at high volume, so don't come complaining about it! And who the hell is Steve?

Lord Steve

That's OK then - means I'll have to stay sober though! Unlikely I have to say, especially if you are favourable towards granting me a wristband for the DfH friday party..........

Take it home of course.   ;D ;D  You do need to make the deal attractive to the Punters.    A bit of smooth talking and 300 notes should  keep things running quite smothly.   8)

Lord Steve - nice one.

I looked at some exotic rentals to pick-up in Paris for 4 days.  The cheapest GT was about 3 1/2 K (Euros) per day with a 75K deductible, so your 3 hundo in gas money looks quite nice about now.

Is he a good enough friend/customer that if the unthinkable happens, he'll still be either????

Looking forward to your post-trip write-up and pics, of course!
