Silverstone this morning is overcast with a gentle wind. Guy ropes advised. Van says it 17.5 deg Celcius. I am staying on Marshalls camping and can confirm gate by copse is open but you will need to get online tickets exchanged at main gate I guess.

PM me your mobile numbers if you want to meet anywhere on circuit today.

Will try to find if they are showing the rugby anywhere too.

Ade and I are on Woodlands now, beers on the go, tents up and Ade's just finished a tin of chilli.
Wandering over to the bar shortly if anyone's joining us.

Where shall we all meet tomorrow?

What about 12 noon but can you suggest a venue?

Hi Steve,

Noon sounds good but where?  I'll check with Vegas when I get there tomorrow.

Top photos Dottoree.

Silverstone is such a bleak looking place. Was never as photogenic as Brands, but now it just looks like a massive expanse of tarmac. The picture of the Grp 6 cars showing the 2 t70'2, you could get another 5 cars abreast there.

Seeing the 935's takes me back. hope they were giving it some stick on big boost.
