Anyone remember the original "tea towels on the head" gathering at the dust bowl shampoo bar. I seem to recall that was the year that the Wailers were the band. Canada Phil might remember presiding over an impromptu wedding ceremony. Happy days!

Hi your Lordship.
I was drinking so can neither confirm nor deny your allegations Smiley
While I recall cries of "Lawrence we love you" Did I really marry some one  Shocked
I used to carry a flag in those days but no tea towel Grin I think the Wailers were the next year but it is all a long time ago and as I mentioned I was drinking....real champagne  angel
I do recall a rather dishy Dutch girl...who never was seen again Huh
The present village may be much more efficient but nowhere near the atmosphere of back then.
Steve you have to come to visit Camp UN on BN and if Carrefoure has ice we will have cold beer

Hi Phil, "Lawrence" and the rather dishy Dutch girl were one and the same - Laura. Can't remember what happened to her but then I can't remember much from those evenings.....

Your invitation is gratefully accepted, many thanks

Yup, I'm liking the sound of a Thursday meet up at the Courbe Bar between the 2 practice sessions - and I'll try to drag Martini's arse up there too.

Sounds like a plan, you need someone to keep you on the straight and narrow...

Me too....so that'll be most of us meeting on the Thursday at La Courbe, and St Saturnin and BN on the Friday afternoon and evening/night.

Just as well we get some rest when that noisy s***te happens on Saturday and Sunday.....

OK, I'll put that date/time in the 2016 guide

That's good for me.
Phil as we missed each other last year, we are on terte rouge again, so keep an eye out for the Club Arnage flags and inflatable rhino nearer the grandstand end of the campsite.

Hi Paul,
I just posted comments to your scaffold question. The Rhino should be easy to find.

After the Courbe Bar is there a "Rhino Meet" on Tetre Rouuge?
(I know what Phil means about getting in - I was there two years ago and it was tricky getting out!!!)
