The Sites I Regularly Read thread
« on: May 18, 2005, 12:37:54 am »
Apart from this one of course, what internet sites do you log on to almost every time you are at the computer and why? Please make links clickable if possible.

http://www.honestjohn.co.uk/forum/index.htm - forums on the website of the motoring bloke from the Torygraph. Discussion can be interesting (heavily moderated though) and technical is useful.

http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/ - forums on saving money! Especially Grabbit While You Can forum, and Shop But Don't Drop - some amazing bargains sometimes (but I often end up buying stuff I don't need!)

http://www.auctionview.co.uk - web site of British Car Auctions - probably have a search for a car once a week or so...haven't bought one for a few years though...  :-\

btw if you use Firefox browser from www.firefox.com you can set up multiple home pages in tabs. I have 10 home pages set up! Makes accessing those regular sites so much quicker...

Robspot,

You are a awful man!

I checked EVERY single page - couldn't find a car anywhere!

http://www.sniffpetrol.com - not a daily read but a MUST every couple of weeks for hilarious motoring satire. I urge everyone to visit this site just to vote on the James Allen issue.

http://www.ten-tenths.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=7 - another forum dedicated to sportscar racing in general. More serious (generally) than CA but quite informative. I often see others from this site posting there.

http://www.350z.com - for the same reasons that Steve Brown visits the Cobra club site - because I've got one.

Hi Randy, I vaguely remember staggering around your encampment. I believe that you absolutely insisted that I drink some of your beer and I didn't want to offend you, so I forced some down. I usually only drink on the Queens birthday - when I will partake of a dry sherry.
People mistake my sunny and gregarious demeanor and assume that I'm pissed as a bastard - not so, I must assure you.

I too liked holymoly.co.uk - well spotted Andy.
