Martini's version looks good to me.
Some people will tell you that slow is good - and it may be, on some days - but I am here to tell you that fast is better.

Hi Paddy

Paddy - Gelukkig Nieuw Jaar and a happy New Year to the rest of you.

Quote - 'I have the Steve McQeen on digital file, measures 41mb'

Probably a bit too big to post normally (thats an exageration), can you put it somewhere as a file which I can collect, perhaps where you put your avatar (bloody strange word that) best if you can save it as a Tiff or an EPS and as large as possible.

Regards

Martini...

OK - I don't know about anyone else but I'm getting a bit bored with this (OK OK I have a short attention span I know ;D)

Shall I propose we adopt Martini's 2006 front and the "two beers" back (subject to GF being able to deal with the copyright issue?)

Anyone second the motion?? (no toilet jokes please  ;D)

Any objections??

Or are we going to go through the pain of another poll - sometimes I think democracy is overrated!!

Piglet,

I'm with you, however, some may not be.

Shall we have a vote on it ?

Who agrees, who doesn't and who does, but with some minor changes ?

Lets just do it.

As for the flag, forget it, a St George's cross won't show, and if it does you'll look like something out of MASH 4077.  In addition, I'm from the Isle of Sheppey, which was part of Holland when I was born  (sorry about the bad news Paddy/Knetter etc but I had to come out eventually)

I agree with the front and back design, but I still think the Union Jack on the sleeve should be retained.
If I was a foreign member of a Drinking for Holland or Turn 10 website and I was buying a shirt, I would accept that the Dutch flag or the Stars and Stripes would be on the shirt as a majority of members of these web sites are of Dutch or American nationality respectively.
As the majority of members of Club Arnage are British, I think the Union Jack should remain.

Personally I'm happy without the Union Flag - the internet is a world wide structure and it seems sensible to me that we have no flag rather than argue the toss about it for longer.

The dreadful compromise would be the Euro Stars and how many of us would like that!!!    :o

Calm down, calm down, calm down.

I suggest that Robbo gets in touch with everyone that normally buys the shirts (if possible, sorry Robbo) and gets a vote from them.
I would also suggest that the cost be sorted first, bearing in mind the design I have done involves 3 colours both sides. There may even be the option, dare I say it, of some having shirts without the back and saving money. Or perhaps just have the back as black cut-out without the colour stripes. Although a couple of quid is not too much to worry about.

Please bear in mind that the illustrations on the front and back may not look exactly like my visuals as I am not sure of the exact print areas.

If there is going to be a vote I think Robbo should put the list together and then everyone sings from the same sheet. for some to have badges and some not will be a little silly (being polite).

PS If you throw out my idea altogether no offence taken (can I have a French flag on mine?)

PPS...Should I do some more designs??! (this was a joke but I don't mind)

I'll go along with the proposal, with or without the Union flag.
