Lorry, if Smokie can ditch his caravan and rely on a tent I am sure you can. Where's your sense of adventure?

Where's your sense of adventure?
In the booze section of Carrefour!

Anyway, I've put 4 carloads of gear into the 'van today (including the tent and two sets of fairy lights)  I'd need a far larger car, and I can't find a tent with its own cocktail cabinet

There's only 6 months to go you know!  The ferrys booked, the tickets ordered so the serious work has to start now, and it starts on the 16th by the look of things.

I'm with you  on that, Lorry.

Another two reasons for taking the 'van.

I like the dog brush and air freshener in the loo, but hey, looks like a nice bit of van  8)

The tin of air freshener's a bit of a giveaway isn't it?  (But no queues in the morning there) and real bedding.

And the full English should be a doddle now.  There's 3 saucepans and 5 frying pans in the bottom

I don't have the luxury of a full-blown cooker, (its a continental 'van), but sufficient gas rings and a microwave is all I need.

The van is 5.6m long (body) and 2.5m wide - that extra width makes a BIG difference.  Also took a little while to get used to the bedroom being at the front.

Which tool would you recommend for constipation, not that this has ever been a problem - the reverse usually - I blame the Pistachios.

God, for next year, I'm going to have the old porta Potti too, and a bucket, and the KKOC pissoire AND the Maison Blanche portaloo.  What luxury.  Anybody caught p!$$!ing down the back of the caravan will be castrated with blunt boltcutters, unlike last year.
