Ok, that was obvious. They already gave hints in the press conference yesterday. I've got the feeling that they will do the whole ALMS 2006. Please just keep them away from the LMES.  ;D
I don't care - I'm a racing driver and I'm here to win, not to finish third.

HGB,
I suspect your right, me thinks they're planning on selling a bunch of diesel Audi's in North America and a ALMS  R10 campaign will be the marketing spearhead.

Funny, isn't it, Fax. Some time ago I got a call from some call center. They were working for Audi and wanted to know people's perception of the brand Audi. I guess they had my address because I had an Audi 80 some years ago (good car for the money and did great miles). After some back and forth (what do you think of Audi's image: cross conservative, progressive ... and such on) the first question of the gentleman on the other end was if I knew that Audi was involved in motorsport. I said "No" (false, obvious). Second question was if I knew LM, answer "No" (again obvious but still thinking he wanted my credit card details). Third question was if I drive a diseasal car. Answer "No" - Message "clear" (at least on my end). It's a campaign, and very well done.
I don't care - I'm a racing driver and I'm here to win, not to finish third.
