I had a good yarn with him yesterday and he sounded in good spirits. The cells were being flown in from the USA last nite and today was installation day... all sounds rather unpleasant.
Best of luck Peter.

Lordy :o Must be feckin' big cells that need a plane to deliver 'em ??? ;D

All the best Peter

Good Luck 'Catchy', hope everything goes to plan mate.
At my age, it takes me all night to do what I used to do all night!!!!!!!!!!!
Then, growing old is compulsary, but growing up is just optional.

Sounds like the security is going to be a really difficult nut to crack, but I'll give it some more thought to see if we can't swing it through some human rights angle or the like.......all the best and good luck,

Give it your best.

Peter,
All the very best for a speedy recovery from me, the Sebring advance party and all at Turn 10.
Get well soon.

quick update on where i'm at with the treatment.  the first milestone has been passed with the new donor cells safely transfused, apparently from an american lady, the nurses are waiting for me to break out into an american accent, i'm more worried about boobs and a huge arse ;D

next step tomorrow when the delicate balance of graft verses host disease begins, a small bit is good a lot is very uncomfatable.

many thanks for all the comments all greatfully received and keep the ole' pecker up.  must dash another dose of cyclosproan from the luverly Glacee.

Official RAF business, I understand Peter is a voluntary 'Ground Crew' for Civil owned ex military aircraft, so need to question him under The Official Secrets Act :police: :police: :police:

Aahh - indeed, a novel approach to the problem - a matter of national security, one might say....
