It is surely one of lifes great mysterys why I am never present when some idiot sets fire to himself or lauches a firework from between his arse cheeks Cry

Once, just once is all I ask.

If any one is willing to indulge me this year please PM me with time and location.

In that case Bob, I very much recommend you are at MB when Team Zarse and the Commer arrive.

A Crazy World of Arthur Brown moment prehaps?

When do you hope to arrive Andy?

Barry/Bob, between midnight on Wed to 01.00am Thurs. In other words; late!

Chris has been for his final costume fitting this week. Will the Team JPC swimming pool definitely be full?

Between Team JPC, Drinking for Holland, The Cutlers (do they have a team name?, The Liverpool Boys and Team S & M (Smokie and Mark) I'm sure we'll have at least one full pool to hand!!

Bad news on the turkey front.  I had a chat with the butcher and he said that they are only slaughtered here on holidays (French turkeys really should dread Christmas) when they're traditionally eaten.  Supermarkets import legs only (cuisse) - back to Somerfields, I guess.

Peanut oil is on sale in litre bottles for just under 2 euros.  Super U and LeClerc both had loads when I looked.  It's actually called "huile d'arachide" (they're only cacahuette when shelled and salted apparently!) - at least I've learnt something with all this.
