Nice one Vicky.

So much for all the 'book and pay now before it's full' panic at the end of June  :( :( :(

Still, it seems that all the CAers that want to have managed to get on the site.

Oh no, www.projectlemans.de reports RfH won't be at Donington  :-\
I don't care - I'm a racing driver and I'm here to win, not to finish third.

I have been talking to the owner of the campsite this afternoon.  They think that due to the high number of CAers attending a few changes to the booking regarding the facilities is in order.

They have realised that a certain amount of segregation would be beneficial to both parties.

I put forward a couple of suggestions and they have agreed to implement them before the weekend.

They sent me these pictures of the changes

There's the newspaper missing in the Houx style bog. Oh my, they should keep a certain standard.  ;D

Can I just say that we've two newbies with us at the weekend. Pete's lad Dan is 18 and this is, I think his first motor racing event never mind LMES. Mike's lad, little Sam is only five and we're expecting a great future for him as an eventual Le Mans stalwart.
I promised the youngsters a relaxing weekend as an introduction to motor racing. Boy, are there mother's gonna be pissed with me!

Right, CA t shirt - check
CA flag and flagpole - check
barbecue - check
stella artois - check

the weather looks fantastic for this time of year, especially a bank holiday weekend. Rain for Thursday and Friday and scattered showers for Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Hurrrrrah.

just stripping out the shorts and putting in my off-shore sailing kit, think I'll leave the sou'wester at home.

The torrential rain at Silverstone last year made the race really interesting.

Cold, but interesting.

Not as cold as Spa though :)
I've come to believe that Le Mans is the centre of the universe.
