Yep! Been watching that too. It was a rocket launch until the other week. I want to visit CC earlier in the week to rekindle what I missed when I was about 7.

Rick,
Doris and myself when to the Kennedy Space Centre last year for a look see.
It is a pretty impressive place, even without a launch.

Make sure you see the Saturn V lying on it's side in the large building to the north of the launch pads, acessible on the bus tour.  It is f**cking huuuuuge.

My photo's of the place here - http://travel.webshots.com/album/549043707vKeEqC

click the photo for a big one

Steve's right, Rick - Kennedy is one of the most awe inspiring places I have ever been!  Go!!!
Live imperfectly and with great delight.

I've mentioned this before, last time I was there you could still go out to the old abandoned Apollo launch pads.  VERY haunting experience, they're just sitting out there quietly amidst the overgrown dune grass.  The towers are long gone but the concrete pads and blast channels are all still there, with a small plaque at the pad Apollo 11 set off from.

I think a bit of advance currency purchasing may be in order if this carries on!! Or might it even carry on getting better all the way until March??

Ohmygod - currency speculation now, eh?  Although it's a good point, anybody got a crystal ball?

It will drop just a little bit more, but it won't take long until the EU will take some measures to weaken the euro, so keep a close eye on it. I will get my currency once you get $1.35  per  € 1,00 , it is now at $1.32
I have given up on being on facebook and myspace, I kept mixing them up and invited people to come on Myface!
