It's a right bugger, but I can't make it.

I was training in Bournemouth, but I've sort of not passed the course, so I'm back in Aberdeen licking my wounds. LM is also out of the question. Still hoping for the silverstone LMES though. :( :( :( :( :( :(

IF I can pull something out of the bag, you will all be the first to know.

Then I'll work out how to tell my wife. In such a way that she remains my wife.

We'll be there and hopefully in marshals camping onsite - unless our lack of tickets gives us difficulty getting in!!

We're planning to get there Friday night - probably in time to pitch in the dark the way things are looking workwise!

KK is snapping, I'm not sure what I'm doing - very possibly nothing (with a fridge full of beer  ;D)

I am now to just visiting........probably just the Sunday, as I need to be fair to my good lady wife  , as she reminded me (in the nicest possible way of course) that I will be spending 10 days in France very soon!  ;D

I just hope I am wrong and that the GT90s 8) are reliable enough to make a race of it on the Sunday.

Happy to meet up and say 'hello', put some faces to names. I will most likely be with Trackside and Co.

Le Mans is for the week......not just 24hrs!

Just looking at the published timetable for this - the final activity on Saturday is "18.45 – 19.15 Discover the track with Dodge"

Anyone got the slightest idea what this is?  ???

Muzorewa,
I'll think you'll find that this is a typo, it should be "Cover the track with porridge".
This is the traditional way to end the race, and although there was a practical reason many years ago (in much the same way swallows line their nests with gobshite to preserve them for the following season), it's more of a symbolic excercise now.
I for one am glad to see it continue.

They are dropping like flies.

I spoke to Whittlebury today and their is no booking, it is just turn up and pay on the day (£25 for the Saturday night - car + tent/caravan).

Al is coming with me, so the liver will surely be punished.

I have to play in the Hertfordshire bowls trial on the Saturday morn but it is just a quick blast up the M1 to Sillystone so should be their by 12.30 and sling the tent up before racing down to the track.

Will bring the beers.

If the levels of alcohol consumption last year are anything to go by then your 8.30 phone call will be the alarm clock. No beer on Sunday for me I will have to drive back. Pooh sticks.  :-[
