I spoke to Bobblehat today to see if he can swing anything with the circuit through his connections with the Silverstone Racing Club.  Am hoping he will post directly with any info as I'm going to be across the pond for a while.

Regardless of where we end up camping I'll be there on the Friday, Cidre in hand.   ;D

Dx
Live imperfectly and with great delight.

I'll just wait and see where Paddy will drag me as far as camping goes. But, thanks for putting such an effort in finding a good spot for all of us to camp. Should we bring a stage? ;D
I have given up on being on facebook and myspace, I kept mixing them up and invited people to come on Myface!

All should be clear in the next couple of weeks. It is being worked on as we speak. Keep watching.

Got this response from Whittlebury Hall:

Hello Mr Appleyard,

We are able to accommodate you all for camping over the LMES event at Silverstone.  The people booking electric hook ups will not be able to camp with the others although they will not be too far away.  All people booking must complete a booking form and return to us with a cheque no later than 7 days prior to the event.

Regards

Louise King

Camping Co-ordinator

I say let's go for it - there is no other practical alternative.

Booking form is here  http://www.whittlebury.com/pp/uploads/Camping_Form_2007.pdf

When you fill this in, in the space for 'Event', put LMS and '(CLUB ARNAGE)' - may help to keep us together as much as possible.  If Donny last year is anything to go by, the site won't exactly be full anyway.

Only hope that the party who complained about the 'Vette being fired up at 3.30am is not coming this year!

Post on here when you have made a booking - saying tent, 'van or camper - and I'll keep track of numbers.

Del

Sending off the form on Monday. Might be up to 6 of us arriving early Saturday morning in tents. Well, we'll probably arrive in cars then be in tents later. Something else to look forward too, I love it!!!!!!!

I tested negative for patience.

Lord, Wait untill BOB U has posted up his results as there may be a better alternative!

Whittlebury is IMHO very unlikly to sell out!

Bob U??  Doris made the post and we're waiting for a response from Bobblehat!!

Any news Doris, Bobblehat??

Incidentally, the other option I heard about is a no-no as it is a farm site and again has no toilet/shower facilities.  So unless Bobblehat can swing things, we're left with Whittlebury Hall.

Hello chaps and chapess, Im still alive, not been about much as there are some major changes in the Bobblehat house hold.

I have contacted SRC, I dont think I will get much info at the momment as they are flat out with an other race, Berinies open wheeled pointy things. As soon as I have got any info I will post straight away.

Paddy you have mail from me and you are quite right I dont rember, and every time I think of it my shoulder aches for some reason!  ::)

Dont worry, there will always be a helpful CA member to remind you of any small indiscretion that might have slipped your memory... usually with photographs to back it up!
